"As a sex therapist, I was extremely pleasantly surprised and impressed with the game and the opportunities for sexuality it facilitates and encourages. The game is obviously very well thought through and exhibits a great deal of prior planning. The packaging is neat and unassuming. It is well presented and I liked the fact that it can be left around a family home without too much concern.

In playing Dare Devil I discovered that it manages to stimulate sexuality, while keeping players in a place of personal safety. I particularly liked the addition of the 'moodmeter' indicating disposition characteristics in the two player game. I found myself wishing for red and continually getting purple (to the point of cheating to edge things forward). This provided a wonderful opportunity for role-playing which is extremely valuable and not always safely accessible to new couples. The provision of blank cards for including personal ideas is also a sensitive and empowering addition. In the awareness that sexual fantasies are so individual and by providing cards for game extension, players are given the opportunity to explore their own sexual fantasies as well. Or leave a blank one in the pack - imagine drawing a blank and suffering the frustration of not having anything done to you! This role-playing aspect of the game holds a great deal of potential in everyday life as well as therapeutically. I am mentally building on it already.
